Merthyr Leisure offers a wealth of sporting and leisure activities for the whole family from its flagship facility at the Merthyr Leisure Village and its Aberfan and Merthyr Vale Centre 

Visit us to enjoy our fitness suite and gym facilities, four swimming pools- including a flume at the Merthyr Centre, squash courts and hall based sports, including more than 40 different activity classes each week.

Merthyr Leisure operates a busy swimming instruction programme for all age groups throughout the year and offers free swimming lessons for children aged 4 and over and free hour long swim sessions during all holiday periods.  Customers aged over 60 swim free with Merthyr Leisure and we also provide free family swim sessions. 

Merthyr Leisure is also proud to offer a busy programme of term time and holiday time activity for children through our FitKidz programme- details of all activity is available on our website.

We are also pleased to host many large sporting and leisure events and performances every year at our Centres. To discuss hire of our facilities please contact the Leisure Team.
